Our doulas work with clients from diagnosis into wellness or end-of-life. In-person and virtual meetings with you and your family, Life & Legacy vision map creation, vigil planning and attendance, advanced care planning, family call tree set-up, end of life celebrations planning, respite care and continuity of care after passing, loved one grief support, collaboration with medical care team.
Maryland Doula Collective offers a variety of groups and workshops tailored to address common topics and needs related to whole wellness, disease, and death. From our Life & Legacy program to our equine therapy group, we empower clients to embrace death as a sacred transition and a part of life. Special topics include caregiver support, alzheimer’s and dementia, cancer, and grief and loss.
We recognize that organizations and individuals in the healthcare field serving patients at the end of life experience a special set of challenges. The Maryland Doula Collective is trained to offer education and resources for healthcare workers in the form of staff retreats and educational trainings on end of life topics such as advanced care planning and the spiritual, emotional aspects of death and dying.
