Compassion Fatigue
Healthcare workers and individuals caring for a loved one face unique challenges surrounding working with individuals at end of life. Walking with patients and loved ones as they experience physical, emotional, cognitive, and lifestyle changes can bring up a person's own stories of loss.
The Maryland Doula Collective works with healthcare providers & community members to learn strategies for limiting burnout and compassion fatigue. Through mindfulness, somatic awareness guidance, and personal boundaries our doulas support you team to continue doing the work and care that you love.

Life & Legacy
Offered as an individual coaching experience or group course participants are invited to explore their emotional, mental, spiritual, physical, and practical domains of life. Through heart-centered coaching and open ended questioning facilitators will guide you to examine your desires, goals, and to create a vision map to deepen your experience of living. Whether you have recently received a life changing diagnosis or are physically well and interested in examining life more fully, the life and legacy vision course supports participants to live a richer and more joyful life.

Alzheimer's and Dementia
The Maryland Doula Collective offers healthcare organizations and individuals specialized support for aiding individuals and their loved ones experiencing dementia. Alzheimers and dementia can create unique familial dynamics, concerns, and patient rights issues at end of life. The Maryland Doula Collective can brings specific guidelines, recommendations, and tools to supporting this population with dignity, compassion, and confidence. This training is ideal for elder care living environments, hospice staff, or any individual that offers healing care for this vulnerable population.​
